SUMMER CAMP

Summer camps have run since 2003 and members continue to enjoy an extremely full weekend of quality instruction, great food and entertainment in the company of fellow members.

Training comes from variety of qualified and experienced instructors and includes such varied skills as showing techniques, reining, roping, in-hand training and trail obstacles.

There have been demonstrations of the use of round pens, tack fitting, lungeing, long reining, equine dentistry and equine massage.

Horses stay in comfortable stables, while their riders camp, and all get to enjoy the use of indoor and outdoor arenas as well as the chance to hack around the fields.

All ‘campers' go home very tired from a busy camp but having improved their own and their horses western riding skills.

Some pictures taken at camp are shown in the gallery below - photos by Fiona Crawford. Thank you Fiona!
